學習過程
定 義: 表示"多少"和"第幾"的詞,叫數詞。其用法相當於名詞或者形容詞。數詞分爲基數詞和序數詞兩種。
基數詞: 表示數目的詞是基數詞,最基本的數詞如下:

３ ９ １５ ３０ 一百
４ １０ １６ ４０ 一千
５ １１ １７ ６０ 百萬
６ １２ １８ ７０ 十億
基數詞 1-12 是獨立單詞,需逐個記憶。基數詞13 - 19是個位數詞的詞幹後加-teen 構成。其中 thirteen, fifteen, eighteen, 變化不規則。基數詞 20 ━90 是在十位數詞後面加 -ty 構成。基數詞 21 ━ 99 是在十位數詞後面加上個位數詞合成,中間加上連字符 " - " 。 例如:
21 twenty -one 95 ninety - five
基數詞三位以上的數詞, 在百位和十位之間,一般要用連詞"and "。 例如:
132 one hundred and thirty-two.
1340 one thousand three hundred and forty
表示"萬"的詞英語中沒有.如1萬可用10千來表示。 ten thousand. 30萬可用 three hundred thousand 來表示。
基數詞的用法:
從句子成分上分析,基數詞在句中可用作主語,賓語, 定語,表語等。
Four of them went to the factory. 他們四個人去了工廠。 ( )
I want two. 我要兩個。 （ ）
There are thirty classrooms in our school 我們學校有三十個教室。（ ）
My classmate is eighteen. 我的同學十八歲。 （ ）
從事物內容上分析,基數詞用在下列情況。
1) 編號的事物用基數詞:
Today we are going to study ___________ 今天我們要學習第五課。
Please open your books at ______________. 請打開書，翻到十頁。
We live in ________________. 我們住在101房間。
They study in _________________. 他們在二十八中學校學習。
2) 表示"年,月,日" 時用基數詞。表示"年代": 用阿拉伯數字, 前面加介詞 in。 讀的時候用基數詞讀。
He was born_________. 他出生在1971年。
2) 表示在"某月": 月份開頭第一字母要大寫, 前面加介詞 i例如:
You could see many flowers___________六月份你可以看到好多花。

3) 在"某年某月某日": 前面用介詞 on。

5) 表示大幾倍或者小几倍用基數詞。

6) 表示百分數用基數詞.

7) 表示分數時,分子數字用基數詞, 但分母要用序數詞, 如分子不是1,序數詞要用複數形式。

1) 序數詞1━19 除第一,第二,第三,第五,第八,第九, 第十二變化不規則外, 其餘均由在基數詞後加上 -th。
2) 十位整數的序數詞的構成方法是, 是將十位整數基數詞的詞尾 -y 變成 i 再加 -eth。
3) 幾十幾的序數詞,只是把個位數變成序數詞, 十位數不變。
4)第一百以上的多位序數詞 由基數詞的形式變結尾部分爲序數詞形式來表示。
one hundred and twenty-first 第一百二十一 one thousand，three hundred and twentieth 第一千三百二十
5)序數詞的縮寫形式 有時，序數詞可以用縮寫形式來表示。主要縮寫形式有。
first--lst second--2nd third--3rd fourth--4th sixth--6th twentieth--20th
twenty-third--23rd 其中lst，2nd，3rd爲特殊形式，其它的都是阿拉伯數字後加上th。
6)序數詞的句法功能
序數詞在句中可作主語、賓語、定語和表語。
The second is what I really need． 第二個是我真正需要的。（ ）
He choose the second． 他挑選了第二個。（ ）
We are to carry out the first plan． 我們將執行第一個計劃。（ ）
She is the second in our class．在我們班她是第二名。（ ）
注：序數詞在使用時，通常前面要加定冠詞 the；但是如果序數詞前出現不定冠詞a或an時，則表示“再--”，“又--”。

我們已經試過三遍了，還必須試一次（第四次）嗎？
7)基數詞也可以表示順序。只需將基數詞放在它所修飾的名詞之後(名詞需大寫) 即可，不需要添加定冠詞。

注意事項
1）基數詞寫法和讀法： 345 three hundred and forty-five；
2）基數詞一般是單數形式，但下列情況，常用複數：
a. 與of 短語連用，表示概數，不能與具體數目連 用，如_____________people許多人；___________________ people數百人
b. 在一些表示"一排"或"一組"的詞組裏；
如：They arrived in ____________________. 他們三三兩兩的到達了。
c. 表示"幾十歲"； _____________在她二十幾歲的時候
d. 表示"年代"，用 in +the +數詞複數；___________在二十世紀九十年代
