課文分析:Would you mind teaching me?

1、would you mind doing sth?做....好嗎?

否定式:Would you mind not doing sth? 別做...好嗎?

例:Would you mind opening the door?你介意把門打開嗎?

2、Would you mind .....?用來提問,表達的語氣較客氣,回答的方式有:

2.1 聽從對方提議,表示一點也不介意

如:Not at all./Of course not./Certainly not./Never mind.

2.2 拒絕對方提議,表示介意,用於表達”對不起....“,"恐怕你還是別....."

2.1 別人

例:You must be kind to others.你必須對別人善良。

=You must be kind to other people.

2.2“其他的人或物”,指在一個範圍之內,除去一部分後剩餘的部分,而不是全部,一般出現短語some…others中, some others,強調除去一部分之後剩餘的全部

3、another

(1)(三者或三者以上)“又一個,再一個”。不確定數量中的另外一個。

(2)別的,不同的。I don't like this shirt.Please show me another one.

(3)another+數詞+名詞=數詞+more+名詞。“再多一些”,在原來的基礎上再加一些。

考點7 so that

課文分析:At first, it was an indoor game so that students could play in bad weather.起先,這是一種室內遊戲,以便學生在壞天氣裏也可以玩。

so that意爲“以便於....”表目的

so+形容詞/副詞+that+句子, 意爲“如此...以至於....”表結果

考點8 時間介詞

(1)ago“多久之前”,用過去式。結構是“段時間+ago”

e.g.two days ago

(2)“before+點時間”,表示“在幾點前”,可用過去時、將來時或一般現在時。

e.g.They will be here before 7:00。

(3)“in+段時間”,指“多久之後”,用將來時。對其提問用how soon

e.g.We will get to Beijing in three days.對劃線部分提問

(4)“after+點時問”,在幾點之後,可用過去時,將來時或一般現在時。

考點9直接賓語與間接賓語

英語中,有的動詞,如give,pass,buy,send,sell,throw,bring等,可以接雙賓語,即直接賓語和間接賓語。其中sb是間接賓語,sth是直接賓語。

可以接雙賓語的動詞通常可以構成兩種句式,但是當直接賓語由代詞充當時,則應當採用give+直接賓語+to+間接賓語的語序

例:Please give me the book.

=Please give the book to me.

Don’t throw him the ball.

=Don’t throw the ball to him.

My mother made me a big cake on my birthday.

=My mother made a big cake for me on my birthday.
