The Horse and the Ass
An ass and a rude horse were travelling horse carried little beyond his own e the poor laden best beside him did struggle,so overburdened that he finally faltered.
He pleaded with the horse to show him some pity,else he would die before reaching the city.
"My request after all is not of this load you would still find light."said the ass.
The horse refused thinking himself clever,but soon saw his com-rade fall down realized quickly he had been mistaken,for soon he was carrying the whole of the burden.

驢子和馬一同趕路。馬馱載的遠不及他所能承受的重量。然而，他身旁負重的驢子卻馱着重物硬撐着。終於，驢子因爲負擔過重踉蹌起來。
他懇求馬可憐可憐他，不然還沒到城裏他就會累死的。
驢子說：“我的要求並非無理，再馱上一半的`重物你也不會覺得重的。”
馬自作聰明沒有同意，可是很快他就看到他的同伴永遠地倒下去了。他立刻意識到自己犯了個錯誤,因爲他就要馱所有的重物了。
