When I visited Beijing last year，my friend there arranged for me a campus visit to Beijing University，which left a deep impression on me. From my point of view, campus tourism can greatly benefit people and the society as well.
To begin with, universities are holy palaces of knowledge to common people. Campus tourism offers a good chance to them to come near their dreamland, realizing their dreams which didn’t or haven’t come true. Touring around the university campus can satisfy people’s respect for science, culture and humanism, which is well worth doing.
Furthermore, campus tourism will do a lot of good to our society without any investment.
Now it is common to see a lot of parents and grandparents showing their children, even toddlers, around the university campus, which is becoming more and more popular in our society. The phenomenon has generated a heated debate. As far as I am concerned, all tour groups should be banned from the campus. My reasons for this are as follows:
First, we should maintain order on campus. A university should be a place for students and professors to learn and study. If it is crowded with photo-snapping tourists, talking loudly near classrooms, a quiet study enviroment will be disturbed, thus causing many complaints from students and teachers.
Second, security is also an aspect we should take into consideration concerning campus tourism. If a university becomes a tourist destination, people of different kinds will flock to the campus. Perhaps not only will some public or teaching facilities be damaged, but the security of personal property can not be guaranteed.
All the disadvantages considered, we should close the doors of universities to public visitors.
A quiet and peaceful place should be given back to the professors and students in the university.

It was a sunny day. My mother and I came to Expo site. The Expo site was very large. There were different kinds of pavilions on both sides of the road. I visited France, Belgium, and Australia pavilion and so on. France pavilion had beautiful jewelry, and Belgium pavilion had delicious chocolate. Spain pavilion looked like a grass mat house. It was funny. China pavilion was the most beautiful of all. It was red and special. I like China pavilion best. Expo site was wonderful.

As the redness deepened, some mysterious clouds moved across thc sky, dividing heaven from the earth. Just at this moment, up from the brightening far east rose the sun. It was so red and yet so tender that we could gaze at it with naked eyes. and a slight applause from us. the amazed spectators, rang through the peak. We were completely amazed at the wonder and the greatness of nature. We jumped and shouted like innocent children and we bathed in the first rays of the sun with the peak till it was time for our return.

Last Saturday, me and my parents went to an amusement park. It was an event that I had been looking forward to, since they never kept delaying the date. However the experience was an extreme contrast from my anticipation. First the ticket price was higher than the ones they post on advertisements. My mother was really disturbed by this incident; she kept saying it was a fraud. Already I can predict that this trip will be bumpy. Yet I got enthusiastic when we were finally inside of it. The sound of roller coasters passing had proven to an enticement for me. Fortunately my mother approved my suggestion to get on the ride (which she rarely does), but then my father refused.
He said it was too dangerous, because he had fainted on the roller coaster one time. I got frustrated at convincing him, and then I went on to the ride by myself. My father was right, because eventually I threw up during the ride. It was embarrassing as people started staring at me. If embarrassing myself wasn’t enough, then my father further elaborated on it. He started to scorn me before the public, saying I am dumb and pathetic. He left me and my mom and went home. I felt the whole world had just collapsed on me.
My mom was very caring; she hugged me and apologized for my father. We just sat there and watched the sunset. The sun seemed to be extraordinarily bright today, brighter than I memorized. We went home at exactly six o’clock that evening. Although I depressed and in no mood to talk; but my mother kept trying to start a conversation. Eventually I talked; it was one of the best conversations in my life! She talked about her life experiences and I talked about mine. It was great. You know what? Even though the trip wasn’t great, but I had found a better alternative.
